I believe we live better with open hearts.

Joy flows more easily.  Compassion is abundant.  Our health and wellbeing benefits.  Our whole Body buzzes with Life-Force.  Love ripples out from every cell.

Yes, I feel living with an open Heart is better.

But what if you’re not ready to open your Heart?  What if you don’t feel safe?  Should you open it?  Can you force it open?

No, I don’t believe you can force your heart to open. I’ll rephrase that.  I don’t believe you should force your heart open. I believe it will open when you are ready and feel supported from the inside out.

And it may only open a little way. Bit by bit. And that is perfectly OK.

This is your Heart, your Body and you get to choose.

Imagine your Heart as a flower-bud. Waiting for the right moment to open, one petal at a time. The bud needs nourishing soil, and water and sunlight.  Without this nourishment and support it cannot open to it’s full potential, if at all.  And we certainly cannot force those petals to open.

What if the only thing your Heart needed to fully blossom was for you to Love yourself more deeply?

What if you loved you more?  Got to know you more intimately.  Held compassion for you.  Forgave you.  Cared for you.  Befriended you.  Respected you.  Accepted you.  Put in place boundaries especially for you.  Met your needs, just for you.

And what if, through this deep expression of Love for yourself your Body relaxed, allowing for your innate love-filled Life-Force to flow from within every cell – creating a beautiful well-nourished garden that opens to Life with each new season.

What if this new garden of Love is exactly what your Heart needs to blossom open, one petal at a time?

Self-Love. What if?

Something to contemplate.  Just for you.
